An 18th-century farmhouse in Vaucluse, France renovated to restore its simplicity and poetry. The farm’s historic volumes—organized around a central courtyard and built according to traditional bioclimatic principles—had been divided into smaller rooms over the last 50 years to meet the needs of previous owners. With careful attention to its architectural elements and regional context, METISMETIS worked to restore and refine the home’s spatial tonalities while subtly integrating modern amenities and playful details.
